Amberg-Weiden
The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH – Technical University of Applied Sciences) is a young, up-and-coming and innovative university. It offers a portfolio of more than 40 study programmes in four departments, which all reflect current developments in engineering and economy.

Applied Research & Transfer
Our research is based on an international network. We participate in cross-national research projects and international publications, for example in the fields of Medical Engineering, Digitisation and Sustainable Energy Generation. With these activities, we strive to raise the number of international doctoral projects as well as the number of potential collaborative doctoral partnerships.
In addition to international research projects, we have established a network of international partnerships, involving universities, organisations and companies with whom we maintain various forms of cooperation, for example research and teaching cooperation, summer schools and international conferences.
