Resource efficiency and digitalization in production and services are the focal research areas of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Resource efficiency bundles research activities from environmental management, energy generation and fiber composite technology to logistics and supply chain management. In the focal area of digitalization in production and services, scientists from the fields of technology, business and design perform interdisciplinary work on the challenges of an increasingly digitalized way of living and working. With the Institute for Innovative Security, HSA_innos, the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences maintains one of the largest research institutes for IT security and safety at a Bavarian university of applied sciences.
